Wednesday Night Meditation with Elizabeth Lesser, Guest Teacher – Groups pre- and post-class links here

November 18 @ 7:30 pm 9:00 pm EST

The Stories that Empower Us: A Conversation between Tara Brach and Elizabeth Lesser, Author of Cassandra Speaks

Elizabeth Lesser

Whether we know it or not, our daily lives take direction from myths and tales that are hundreds, even thousands of years old. During their time together, Tara and Elizabeth will speak about how these origin tales have shaped our psyches and perpetuated the violence and suffering that marks our world. They will then explore how we can create fresh stories that guide our collective awakening to peace, compassion and healing.

Elizabeth’s new book: Cassandra Speaks: When Women are the Storytellers, the Human Story Changes is available here.

Elizabeth Lesser is the cofounder of Omega Institute and the author of MarrowThe Seeker’s Guide; and the New York Times bestseller Broken Open. She has given two popular TED talks and is one of Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul 100, a collection of one hundred leaders who are using their voices and talents to elevate humanity. She lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with her family.

The Wednesday night meditation class is livestreamed to Tara’s Facebook, and Tara’s YouTube starting at 7:30pm ET (New York time).

This is a live event. It will be recorded and available afterwards here on TaraBrach.com, Tara’s Facebook, and Tara’s YouTube.

The class includes 1/2 hour of guided meditation followed by a 50-minute teaching talk. This offering is supported by your generosity. If you’d like to make a donation, please visit www.tarabrach.com/donation. $10-15 is suggested to help us cover expenses. Any amount is gratefully received.

Mindful Dialogue Groups

The groups that have been meeting for years after my Wednesday night class have moved online. Over the past months, we’ve been joined by hundreds of people from all over the world. The goal of the discussion groups is to create a safe and intimate space for people to share what’s in their hearts without fear of judgment or contradiction.

To further promote safety, we also have a group for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color only. Both groups start right after my Wednesday night talk ends. If you’ve tried to join before but weren’t able to get in, please try again as we’ve increased capacity. The links for both groups are below:
