IMCW Fall Online Silent Meditation Retreat

ONLINE FALL RETREAT – INTIMACY WITH LIFE

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR WAITLIST

Vipassana, or Buddhist meditation, is a way of opening to life and seeing clearly the totality of one’s being and experience. The practice is based on cultivating a present-centered mindfulness, leading to an unfolding of our natural wisdom and compassion.

The focus of this retreat is to enhance intimacy with ourselves and the world. In order to help participants discover a sense of stillness and deep listening, silence will be maintained throughout the retreat except during question/answer periods and practice group meetings with the teachers. In addition to sitting and walking meditation practice, there will be sessions of mindful movement led each day.

This is a silent meditation retreat held in noble silence; it is not an interactive workshop.

Teachers: Tara Brach, Jonathan Foust, La Sarmiento, Konda Mason and Solwazi Johnson.

Assisting Teachers: Jen Jordon, Luisa Montero-Diaz

Please find more registration and retreat information in our Resource section/Residential Retreat Information.

Please note: If you are in the midst of a life trauma, emotional upheaval or instability that might require individual support beyond our scheduled meetings with teachers, the retreat format may not be a good match at this time. Should you have any questions about this, please contact the retreat manager listed.

Retreat Manager: Glen Harrison
