The Anti-Racism Revolution: Inhabiting the Moment

A Conversation between Spring Washam and Tara Brach

July 11, 2020 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm EDT

The Anti-Racism Revolution: Inhabiting the Moment

Join Tara and special guest Spring Washam, Saturday, July 11th from 1 to 2pm EDT (US).
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – LINK BELOW.

How do we bring our courage and presence to the violence, heartbreak and potential that is cracking open our society?

Buddhist teachers Spring Washam and Tara Brach share the challenges they are encountering, and the practices and insights that are guiding them during this time of radical inner and outer transformation. The format of this event is an honest and vulnerable conversation between two esteemed teachers. They will open with a guided meditation, and close with an offering of healing for ourselves and our country.

This event is sponsored by the Insight Meditation Community of Washington, DC. It is free to the public, but participants are strongly encouraged to make a donation at the time of registration. Proceeds will go towards IMCW’s special fund for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) students and teachers, to support the deepening of their practice through classes, retreats and teacher training. A portion will also go to teacher Spring Washam, for the generosity of her time and wisdom in this offering.

REGISTER HERE FOR THE EVENT ON SATURDAY, JULY 11 FROM 1-2 PM EDT (US)
